Contributing to the Learning of Others

These past six weeks have been very intense for me as I am at the end of my TESOL program. EDTC300 is a part of my final course to complete my degree. I came to the course nervous because I had little to no idea about ePortfolio, twitter, course community, among others. I recall the first day I read the syllabus. My nervousness heightened, and all I thought was, how am I going to do this with my limited technology skills. But here I am after six weeks, very enlightened like never before, reflecting on my progress and contributions to my classmates and others. I am excited about taking this class, and I cannot wait to share the knowledge and skills gained with my colleagues and future students.

This google slide is documentation of some of my contributions. They have been categorized into

  • Blog post – commenting on classmates blogs
  • Interacting with people on Twitter – contributing to conversations, participating in education-related Twitter chats and sharing resources
  • Course Community – interacting with classmates on Discord, sharing resources and answering questions to help classmates
  • Writing posts in response to blog posts
