About Me

I am Linda Yeboah, an MA TESOL student at the University of Saskatchewan. I am in my final year. The TESOL program has equipped me with the necessary skills that will aid me in my teaching career. The program has taught me the different approaches and corrective feedback I need to integrate into my teaching to help second language learners. I have also learned how to integrate grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation lessons with the four language skills.

Technology plays a crucial role in second language teaching and learning, and I have had the opportunity to gain experience on how to create lessons using authentic materials, videos, audio, and games in my TESOL program. I am currently in an educational technology class at the University of Regina as a visiting student, and I am excited about the class because of the integration of technology. The course introduces students to the use of technology and media in teaching and learning, and one key thing to do in the class is to blog about your teaching and learning experience. I am excited about blogging as it is my first experience, and I hope to gain further insight into using technology for teaching and learning.
